Owen Mumford, a global leader in medical device design and manufacturing, is set to unveil and introduce its new branding for UniSafe, a springless, passive safety device, on November 7th-8th at PDA: Universe of pre-filled syringes and injection devices 2017 in Vienna, Austria.

UniSafe is engineered without a spring to eliminate the potential risks and challenges of traditional spring-based devices. It works with standard, pre-fillable syringes, and its low part count makes assembly straightforward.

The new UniSafe brand identity is expressed through the tagline ‘Safety is Springless,’ highlighting both the key benefits for users and the attention to detail our product offers; safety and enhanced visibility for the end-user while ensuring it delivers accurate and dependable dosing. Product images will also be updated to reflect the innovative and advanced solutions that Owen Mumford provides.

Speaking about the rebrand, Oliva Houselander, Business Development Manager at Owen Mumford, stated, “It is important that the benefits of UniSafe are clearly communicated to our customers. We want people to know what we represent, and our new tagline, ‘Safety is Springless,’ shows our dedication to improving adherence to treatments, as the design allows users to see the medication being administered, enhancing end-user confidence in our devices.”

Owen Mumford will also reveal the updated branding for its Device Solutions (Original Equipment Manufacturing) division. This will be aligned with the key messaging of Unisafe — putting the end-user at the center of every design.

Owen Mumford will display UniSafe and the new branding at PDA booth x86, where you can see product demonstrations and take on a product assembly challenge to see how easy it is to put the device together.
