This initiative was launched to explore how Owen Mumford can implement measures that address our sustainability and environmental responsibilities. Because of this effort, Owen Mumford has collaborated with local conservation and environmental partners. Last year, this led to installing solar panels at both our Woodstock and Chipping Norton locations, which will prevent 66 tons of CO2 emissions each year by using clean energy to power our business operations.
More recently, we’ve become a Corporate Partner with the local conservation charity, the Wychwood Project. This collaboration has involved Owen Mumford volunteers regularly participating in different local conservation activities, including the Wild Oxfordshire and FreshWater Watch Waterblitz events, helping with local biodiversity and freshwater projects.
