Owen Mumford announces an exciting collaboration with multinational drug container manufacturer Stevanato Group
Tomorrow, we’ll be announcing a new partnership with Stevanato Group, a multinational company that’s highly respected and well-known in the pharmaceutical industry, producing primary drug containers such as glass vials, syringes, and ampoules.
Stevanato Group will be helping us promote our innovative Aidaptus auto-injector (formerly known as project Eiger) to a much broader audience, giving us access to a large base of potential new customers early in the drug development process. This allows Owen Mumford to play a role in device decisions right from the start. Once we form partnerships with major pharma companies, Stevanato will invest heavily in molding equipment and subassembly tools, and will offer options for final assembly equipment so pharma companies can provide drug-filled devices to their patients. Initially, Owen Mumford will assemble the devices by hand, before investing in fully automated assembly systems at our new facility in Witney.
When all the required equipment is ready, Stevanato will supply molded components for Aidaptus and, together with Owen Mumford, build the sub-assemblies. With this valuable set of customers, deep expertise, and the financial and human resources Stevanato Group brings, we’re truly giving Aidaptus the attention and global reach it deserves.
This partnership is all about creating extra opportunities to sell this remarkable device we have developed and positioning it as a leading, innovative solution around the world, all from the company known for breakthrough medical device design – Owen Mumford.
