Healthcare systems worldwide are experiencing even more pressure these days, especially during the current health crisis. One major approach to addressing these challenges has been promoting and supporting self-administration, particularly for people managing chronic diseases.
This article uses the lessons learned from home treatment of chronic conditions to consider the challenges and factors involved in offering this option to eligible cancer patients in the future.
