Vaginal dilators for vaginismus and pelvic health care

Vaginismus is a condition that affects thousands of women from all walks of life. Women may start experiencing recurrent or persistent involuntary vaginal tightness for a number of reasons, causing penetration to be difficult and sometimes painful. Such difficulty with penetration is often a source of distress for women who experience it and it can have a negative effect on relationships.

Owen Mumford's Amielle® dilator range includes two vaginal dilators to help overcome such difficulty. Developed with psychosexual therapists, Amielle® Comfort offers simple selftreatment at home, and can help women to work towards becoming relaxed with vaginal penetration. Amielle® Care is for women who may be at risk of developing internal scarring following pelvic radiotherapy to help the vagina remain supple.
