Amielle® Comfort Vaginal Dilators

Vaginal dilators play a key role in one of the most important treatment steps for vaginismus, progressive desensitisation. In this therapy, dilators are introduced to help users gradually become more comfortable with touching around the vagina. Our Amielle Comfort dilators are designed to help users familiarise themselves with their body until they feel able to progress to natural penetration.

Amielle Comfort’s incremental dilators sizes enable patients to start with smallest one and gradually increase at a comfortable rate, minimising the risk of pain or discomfort during the treatment process. Designed for convenient use, Amielle Comfort dilators comes prepackaged with lubricant, a handle, a linen storage pouch and an IFU.

Developed in conjunction with psychosexual therapists, Amielle® Comfort vaginal dilators help familiarise users with their body and build confidence until they feel able to progress to natural penetration.

Amielle® Comfort vaginal dilators start at a size of just 1.5cm diameter, allowing users to start small and gradually move up the range at a pace which is comfortable and safe. The aim is to progress until the vaginal muscles are comfortable being dilated enough to avoid pain or discomfort during penetration.
