Streamlining Quality Processes With ETQ

Like many life sciences and medical device organizations, we faced challenges related to FDA regulations, quality and compliance risks, and the need to protect our brand value. Our old paper-based system demanded a lot of resources and didn’t support our sustainability goals or the evolving work environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We realized we needed an electronic Quality Management System (QMS) to stay competitive and be ready for the future.
We selected ETQ Reliance as our trusted partner and adopted a phased approach for our quality journey. We focused on the highest-risk elements and validated them internally. To start, our quality team rolled out ETQ’s document control module globally. Next, we worked on integrating with our ERP system, Epicor, and streamlined our nonconformance and product control processes into a unified, efficient workflow.
During this transition, we made sure everyone understood the benefits of the new system and how it would support our ongoing improvement goals for compliance, agility, and environmental impact.
