Tooling, technical and development

Innovation and expertise from concept to production

Our engineering teams drive innovation and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle – from early design and tooling to high-speed automated assembly.

With in-house capabilities spanning test, measurement and manufacturing, we deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions that ensure quality, efficiency and long-term success.

Manufacturing

Tooling

Precision-engineered for quality and efficiency.

Our tooling team manages the design, validation and optimisation of mould tooling and ancillary equipment. Collaborating from the earliest design stages, they ensure a smooth handover to operations through robust design-for-manufacture processes.

With global toolmaker partnerships and expertise in micro to multi-cavity, high-precision tooling, we meet diverse customer needs. Our data-driven approach – including risk assessment, experimental design and metrology – leads to repeatable, high-quality outcomes.

Test method and metrology

Innovating precision to power performance.

Our test and metrology team pioneers advanced measurement systems that drive smarter, faster manufacturing. By integrating cutting-edge statistical methods and real-time process control, they ensure every component meets the highest standards – before it reaches the customer.

Their forward-thinking approach fuels continuous improvement, enabling greater product reliability, accelerated validation and enhanced manufacturing efficiency across the board.

Manufacturing Equipment Group

Manufacturing equipment group (MEG)

Bridging innovation from design to production.

Our MEG team connects R&D and manufacturing by designing equipment that simplifies and strengthens the assembly process. They collaborate early in product development so that components are production-ready.

From tabletop tools to fully automated systems with built-in quality controls, MEG specifies and validates the equipment needed for reliable, scalable device production – working closely with suppliers to ensure performance and readiness at launch.

Assembly process

Once equipment is on-site, MEG validates both the process and machinery – making sure everything runs smoothly from goods inwards to final dispatch, including in-process and batch testing.

They collaborate across departments to establish end-to-end production flows and support the seamless transition into full-scale manufacturing, enabling a confident, efficient product launch.
