Another excellent business wins the Owen Mumford Innovation Award
On Friday 14th March Mark Owen, Chairman and Andy Vardé, Director of Research and Development attended the 2014 West Oxfordshire Business Awards (WOBA) to present the Owen Mumford Innovation Award.
As sponsors of this category, Owen Mumford was involved in the judging process, which is both enjoyable and challenging because the shortlist always includes outstanding candidates.
Andy Vardé said; “We are pleased to be part of the WOBAs, which recognise successful west Oxfordshire businesses that share our own company’s ambition to grow and succeed through innovation and we were particularly happy to be sponsoring this Award for the fourth year running.”
The 2014 winner of the Owen Mumford Innovation Award is ICEoxford, a leading supplier of custom design, high performance cryogenic systems to scientific and cryogenics research groups throughout the world.
The company is based in Witney and was founded in 2004. Andy Vardé said of the decision: “ICEoxford was the worthy winner of this category. The judging panel was impressed by the company’s imaginative approach to marketing and brand awareness and the way it had created a clear and identifiable image for its products, backed up by serious technological development and environmental benefits. On behalf of Owen Mumford, I would like to wish ICEoxford every success in the future.”
