Amongst the technologies adopted within our Manufacturing facilities at Woodstock are 15 fully automated assembly machines for the range of Unistik® single-use devices, all of which were designed and manufactured by our in-house Production Engineering Division.
The Surgical Needle Unit possesses 4 needle-grinding machines and has both electro-polishing and chemical processing technologies for the finishing of needles.
Our ISO14644-1 Class 7 Lancet Moulding Clean Room contains 17 vertical moulding machines, running all types and sizes of lancet tools; from 32-cavity tools up to a 104-cavity tool.
The adjacent packaging area also boasts an automatic packing machine using optical technology to automatically count lancets with full capability to construct, fill, close and seal cartons of many shapes and sizes.
Our nearby manufacturing facility in Chipping Norton – “Cotswold Division” – contains component moulding (including Clean Room Moulding) and assembly of the range of Lancing Devices, Drug Delivery Devices and Sexual Health and Neuropathy products.
Within Cotswold Division a total of 18 Horizontal Injection Moulding machines are utilised, including 3 within an ISO14644-1 Class 7 Clean Room.
Our facility in Atlanta, GA., USA is also registered with the FDA for the assembly and packing of medical products, enabling Owen Mumford to provide even greater flexibility.
Worldwide, Owen Mumford is 100% committed to achieving the highest standards in all areas of our business and has successfully attained the following industry standards:

- FDA Registered Manufacturer (Ref. 8021764).
- Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC Annex ll (excluding section
