Design & Development

Our Woodstock, UK, site hosts all of our design, development and engineering facilities, including New Product Design and Development, Production Engineering, Project Management and Corporate Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
New Product Design and Development includes teams of industrial designers and toolmakers. In addition to the dedicated design office, a fully equipped tool shop is at hand for the manufacture of prototype models and tools, as well as the ability to complete full injection moulding trials, including insert moulding. Facilities are also available within this area to conduct product testing and evaluation.
Production Engineering is responsible for providing continuous support to our Lancet Production Division, also located in Woodstock. The Production Engineering Team works to continuously improve efficiencies and process methodologies. Adaptation of vertical moulding machines and design and manufacture of needle-loading systems, in-process lancet inspection systems and high volume automatic assembly machinery are all areas of expertise that have been developed and refined with the assistance of Production Engineering.
Aside from specific equipment located in each of the design and production environments, additional facilities for high-speed, exceptionally accurate dimensional verification and force parameter testing are available within our Corporate Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs department.
Within the same area, all activities related to Regulatory fi lings, applications and procedures are managed and maintained, as well as a dedicated team for investigation of Product Technical Support issues.
