Production Operative

As a result of the Company’s continued growth and expansion we are seeking an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to support the Cotswold Assembly Department, responsible to the Pen Needle Team Leader

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system by
utilizing hand tools, instrument gauges, basic documents and production equipment

• Understands basic production flow, material control, quality, GMP's, component ID and safety as part of job duties.

• Conducts minor in-process testing.

• Operates or monitors machinery or equipment, ensuring that the product is manufactured according to specifications.

• Sets up and makes adjustments to equipment or machinery. Checks equipment setting(s) against specifications before operation, making adjustments when necessary.

• Checks product for conformance to specifications using test or measurement devices or equipment.

• Inspects materials/products/components for errors or flaws.

• Identifies more effective ways for detecting or preventing errors.

• Accurately completes documentation required for equipment history, production records and waste disposal.

• Understands manufacturing instructions and procedures.

• Communicates in a clear, timely and concise manner to co-workers, supervisors and managers.

• Operates test equipment to monitor process trends and performs troubleshooting.

• Identifies and reports problems, generally requiring minimal analysis.

• Makes decisions to terminate processes or requests management intervention where personal safety or product quality may be jeopardized.

• Performs operations to package and prepare manufactured product or manufacturing waste for shipment.

• May perform repetitive lifting or bending during production or repair.

• Performs operations to inspect parts, components or malfunctioned product.

• Provides information and answers questions in a courteous and tactful manner.

• Responds to technical and non-technical questions and provides information.

• Performs any other reasonable requests.
