Owen Mumford Ltd to discontinue Unilet Superlite and Unilet GP.

As of the 1st of June 2008, Owen Mumford will be discontinuing two variants from their range of lancets: Unilet Superlite (23G) and Unilet GP (21G).

If you or one of your patients is prescribed either Unilet Superlite or Unilet GP lancets, Owen Mumford recommends switching to one of the three alternatives.

Unilet ComforTouch lancet

Unilet GP Superlite lancet

Unistik 3

Three variants available:

• Unistik 3 Comfort, suitable for most skin types
• Unistik 3 Normal, suitable for slightly tougher skin
• Unistik 3 Extra suitable for tough skin and larger blood sampling required for home cholesterol testing.

Unilet ComforTouch, Unilet GP Superlite and Unistik 3 will deliver enough blood for any meter device and are all available on prescription.

Please be advised that if you are a patient, Owen Mumford recommends that you speak to your Healthcare Professional prior to switching from either Unilet GP or Unilet Superlite.
